Essa grande quantidade de músicos em uma mesma banda refletiu no primeiro trabalho deles, Madureira traz uma mistura incrivelmente rica em ritmos e nuances que vão desde a composição á escolha de um instrumento em determinado arranjo.
Começando o disco encontramos a intro chamada "Vai" e logo após o swing começa pra valer com a faixa “Madurar”,
a faixa além de ser o primeiro single do primeiro disco ainda dá nome ao álbum
e vai muito além de significados, em meio a versos que dizem “essa amoreira vai
madurar” fala-se do amor em si, o amadurecimento do amor. E como se não
bastasse apenas com essa música Samuca e Selva passeia pelo jazz, R&B e
flerta com o groove, tudo muito bem dosado sem deixar de lado os vocais muito
bem distribuídos em toda a canção.
Continuando com a audição temos mais groove com “Pobre do Bento” e em “Afobado peito altivo” encontramos uma pequena obra prima, composição fluída em meio a swing suave com flertes de forró.

Mais a frente temos “Detergente” que nos lembra uma lambada
dos anos 80 com uma nova roupagem, uma salsa sem compromisso. "Á beça" traz uma
jazz cantando em inglês com uma guitarra frenética, é uma quebra e tanto no
seguimento do disco e até agora é minha faixa favorita, muito soul e composição
bem trabalhada.
"Guará" é a faixa mais autobiográfica do disco e talvez a mais especial também, tem uma levada que deixa o ouvinte preso na canção. "Coco Docê" traz mais a regionalidade que encontramos outrora em Afobado peito altivo, mais um pouco de forró e maracatu. "Flores Raras" quebra mais uma vez a obviedade do disco e traz um groove hipnótico que mais uma vez conquista nos primeiros segundos. Em "Pantanal Paraguaio" a latinidade vem fortemente nos vocais e instrumental da canção, uma música bem deliciosa de se ouvir.

"Esperanza (Bem vindo à selva)" já começa com um groove massa e
em pouco mais de 2 minutos ouve-se apenas o instrumental que prepara para a
explosão dos vocais. E o disco acaba com "Pantanal", uma versão instrumental de
Pantanal Paraguaio mais bem trabalhada com reforço de uma sanfona mais bem
aproveitada.
