No primeiro semestre de 2015 foi lançada a grande novidade, digimon iria voltar com os personagens da primeira temporada em razão da comemoração de 15 anos de lançamento do anime. O tempo passou e em novembro foi lançado o primeiro OVA de Digimon Adventure Tri, dividido em quatro partes com pouco mais de 20 minutos cada, a primeira parte desse retorno do anime deixou os fãs ouriçados e com muita razão, são novos traços, músicas antigas com novas roupagens e uma trama intrigante que já conquista logo nos primeiros minutos é a reinvenção de um clássico da nossa infância.
Digimon Tri se trata de uma sequência direta para as duas primeiras temporadas de digimon, mais precisamente 3 anos após o término de "Digimon Zero Two" e traz uma história que intriga até quem já conhece bastante o mundo digital. Nessa primeira parte dos OVAs os digiescolhidos estão ocupados com seus afazeres de ensino médio -inclusive para se encontrarem- até que ocorrem estranhas interferências em aparelhos que utilizam tecnologia sem fio acarretadas por desdobramentos entre o mundo digital e o mundo humano, o que abre brechas para digimons aparecerem na terra com apenas um objetivo: destruição. Pelo menos de início né?
Nessa primeira parte dos OVAs muita coisa muda (pra melhor), além dos novos traços que deixaram o anime mais adulto seguindo o crescimento dos seus fãs, também temos vinhetas de digievolução completamente diferente das anteriores, os digimons também não ficam repetindo o nome dos ataques a cada 15 segundos e -finalmente- respeitaram a Tailmon, que dignamente já é um digimon nível campeão e não precisou evoluir para Angewomon sem necessidade alguma. Outros detalhes mais sutis estão nas características dos personagens que mudaram um pouco conforme o crescimento dos mesmos, algo completamente natural.
A única notícia ruim é que Tai, Sora, Matt e cia. só voltarão com um OVA novo em 12 de março de 2016, o que deixará alguns fãs sedentos pela continuação da história. Fora isso Digimon Adventure Tri voltou com todo o gás que muitos animes (novos inclusive) não tem, ainda tem muita coisa pra ser explorada e muita nostalgia pra ser vivida.
