O duo inglês "Aquilo"
formado por Ben Fletcher e Tom Higham apareceu na cena nacional como trilha
sonora do comercial da Unilever, mas na Europa eles são conhecidos como
sinônimo da nova leva do indie rock. Com passagens pelo Glastonburry e na lista
de tendências da BBC 6 Music e do The Guardian, a banda Aquilo agora ambiciona
conquistar os brasileiros. O som do Aquilo começa a despertar interesse desde o
nome do duo inglês. Se para os brasileiros a palavra remete à língua
portuguesa, para alguns dos principais palcos da cena europeia, Aquilo já é
sinônimo de uma música sincera, sofisticada e ao mesmo tempo simples, limpa e
minimalista. Não por acaso, o som da banda já conquista ouvintes do mundo
inteiro e tem feito deles uma das sensações europeias do ano.
Desde 2012 na estrada, Ben
Fletcher e Tom Higham começaram a ganhar destaque já no ano seguinte, quando
lançaram o single “Calling Me”. A canção os coloco no mapa da BBC 6 Music,
sempre ligada em tendências, e também do gabaritado jornal The Guardian,
culminando em um show no palco do festival Glastonburry, na edição de 2014.
Atualmente, eles estão em turnê mundial divulgando o EP “Silhouete”, lançado em
abril de 2016.

“Human”, lançado em 2014; “Calling Me”, de 2015; e o EP ao vivo, “Midnight”,
lançado no início de 2016. As canções de Tom e Ben falam sobre coração partido,
perda e arrependimentos, sentimentos inerentes à condição humana. No Brasil, o
grupo teve seu primeiro reconhecimento quando a sua faixa "You There"
conquistou o público ao participar da trilha sonora da campanha contra o
desmatamento de árvores da Unilever, em 2015.
